Our little girl is getting to be more and more like a big girl. I still can't believe we don't have a baby anymore! She constantly wants to walk, crawl, play, pull, hit, punch. Yeah, that's right, I said punch.
Miss E is such a wiggle worm these days that the 8 month pics were a bit....difficult. See for yourself.
Such a lady with her little hands crossed...yeah right!!
E can't sit down for very long. She's got to go-go-go. Pulling up on anything, tables, clothes, legs, dogs, whatever. And then trying to run off. Yes ya'll, run!
Down we go!!
Nanny nanny boo boo, I'm almost as big as you are!!
The smiles are almost the same, ear-to-ear.
And on to our favorite part of the day, standing up!!
And getting in the camera. Ready for her closeup.
She looks so sweet. So very, very sweet.
Here is E standing just about all on her own. Something she is doing more and more of. She will let go of my hands as we are walking around, like, Hey Mom...I GOT this!!
At eight months, Ella:
Is crawling, although it's a crab crawl with one leg out
Walks...wait, runs with very little help from us
Dances when you sing or music is on (more like a crazy, jumpy, jerky move)
Stands on her own for a few seconds
Pulls up on everything
Will reach out her hand and grab and point when she wants something
Makes the "Y" sound and says bye and hi
Said Mommy, but most of the time I'm "mmmmm"
Has two big girl teeth
Has to hear the word no all.the.time and gets mad when you say it or take something away from her
Doesn't really need bibs anymore!!!!
Sleeps 12 hours with 2 hour long naps during the day
Points at things and then looks at me and when I tell her what it is, she looks back and studies it
Pushes your hand away when she doesn't want her bottle, doesn't want you to change her diaper, change her clothes or brush her hair
Bangs anything and everything together
Has stranger anxiety and "mommy-itis"
Basically the last month has been all about attitude. Miss E is really developing her personality and letting it shine! She is stubborn, easily frustrated, demanding and a lot to handle. But at the end of the day when she's sleepy, she gives hugs and kind-of kisses that are more like slobbery face plants that remind me just how sweet my little E really is.
she is just so cute Mandi!! Those last pictures are so presh!
