Ella got to have her first sleepover at Sassy and Poppy's house Saturday night. I was worried that she would keep Sassy up all night but she woke up every four hours, ate and went back to sleep. Not as awesome as she does at home, but not too bad for her first night away. She was so excited she did her hair for the evening. She figured a winged look was appropriate!
Mommy forgot to bring Sweet Pea's brush to Sassy and Poppy's so they just finger combed her hair after her bath. Well, when we picked her up Sunday morning, her hair was at an all time high. It kinda looked like a baby mullet because the sides are getting so long, they cover her ears.
But she was a happy girl.
She just couldn't stop smiling and kept following the camera with her eyes. I kept trying to get a picture of the hair on the side of her head, but every time I would move the camera, she would turn her head to look at it! Such a big girl!!
But finally, it was time for a nap. All the fun at Sassy and Poppy's wore our little princess out.
We finally found a swing that fits Ella's discerning taste. Apparently she doesn't like to swing back and forth, she prefers side to side. Her new swing is awesome! It plays all kinds of music and soothing sounds, swings two ways, vibrates, plugs into the wall and you can even hook an ipod into it!! The infant support is teddy bear ears and when I first put her in it, she looked so funny with the ears sticking up over her hair.
Finally, today we decided to play around with Boo Radley. Boo was very nervous because she knows she is not allowed in the nursery and could not figure out what kind of evil trick I was playing on her by putting her on the chair. This picture reminds me of the scene in ET with all the dolls...Can you find Ella and Boo??
